Wearing school uniform enables pupils to feel a sense of belonging and pride in their school. It also establishes a clear identity within the local community.
School uniform is as follows:
Grey or black pinafore dress, skirt or trousers
White blouse or polo shirt
Summer if desired, blue and white striped or gingham checked dress
Navy sweatshirt or cardigan with or without school logo
Grey or black trousers (short trousers for summer)
White shirt or polo shirt
Navy sweatshirt with or without school logo
Black shoes (no trainers)
Dark coloured shorts
Plain light coloured T shirt
Earrings must be removed or covered with plasters supplied from home
School Uniform With Logo
There is no obligation for parents to purchase uniform bearing the school logo. All we do ask is that parents adhere to school colours.
Labelling School Uniform
Please ensure that you clearly label all your child’s belongings with his/her name. This is of great assistance in enabling us to return lost items to their rightful owner.
Unnamed items are placed in the lost property box. Any items which remain unclaimed at the end of each term will be disposed of.
We encourage our pupils to take pride in their appearance and to understand the importance of dressing appropriately for school. We would ask that parents support us and discourage inappropriate hair styles. ie. tram lines, coloured hair gel, excessive hair ornaments.
Earrings should be small studs. This is for safety reasons as it is very easy to catch larger earrings and cause an injury, especially at playtime. The children should not wear necklaces or any other jewellery, nail varnish or transfer tattoos.
